I offer a patient, supportive, and structured approach to learning English, with a strong focus on building both confidence and genuine understanding. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual’s pace, level, and personal goals. My aim is to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported throughout their learning journey.
My teaching methodology is centred on clarity and practical use. I break down grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure into simple, easy-to-understand steps, ensuring that students are not just memorising, but truly understanding the language. I place strong emphasis on speaking and comprehension so that students can communicate naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
A unique aspect of my teaching is the use of music and books as learning tools. These resources are highly effective in language learning because they naturally incorporate imagery, emotion, and authentic language patterns. Through songs and reading materials, students gain a deeper understanding of vocabulary, sentence structure, and the natural flow of English in a way that is both engaging and memorable.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and follows a clear and structured format. We begin with a brief review of previous material, followed by the introduction of a new concept or skill. Lessons may include grammar, conversation practice, reading, or writing exercises, sometimes incorporating music or short texts for a more interactive experience. I guide students through each step, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Each lesson ends with a short recap to reinforce learning and track progress.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my strong academic background combined with my current studies in psychology. This allows me to better understand how students learn, stay motivated, and build confidence over time. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high standard of teaching.
