When I'm not working with circuits or 5G technology, you can usually find me on the cricket pitch—I actually play for the Estonian national team!

Introduction to Fractions (The Pizza Party).
1. The Hook: "Imagine we only have one large, cheesy pizza and four hungry buddies. It wouldn't be fair to give the entire pizza to one person, right?
2. The Visual: I'd show a circle (the pizza) with two lines dividing it into four equal slices.
3. The Concept: "Each friend receives one slice." We refer to your piece as 1/4 because there are four slices in total. The bottom number (denominator) informs us how many pieces make up the whole, and the top number (numerator) us how many you have!"
4. The Practice: "If you ate two slices, you'd get 2/4. "Look closely—that's exactly half of the pizza!"
