Õpetaja Lāsma kohta
I'm an experienced musician in various music genres.
I come from a musical family, so I've been engaged with music since I was little. In 2011 I started music school and since then, first 10 years my focus was on classical singing and theory, which included singing on stages all around the world in a choir and solo, as well as learning classical music theory.
The last 5 years my focus has been on jazz and rythm music. I completed a vocational education in jazz piano and now am studying in Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, Bachelor's degree, jazz department.
Since 2022 I also compose my own original pieces, some of which have been performed on bigger stages and live radio concerts in Latvia.

The lessons are tailored for each student based on what they need at the moment -basics of theory, extra ear training for school, some specific thing you would like to train. My lessons will include theory, listening and practical excercises. I explain difficult concepts in more simple ways and give practical tips to navigate through scales, intervals, chords and rythm. I hope to make theory less overwhelming for you!
